Mahallah Bilal was established in the middle of  June, 1999 comprises of 8 blocks, 7 for Undergraduate and 1 for Postgraduate.
There are three types of room:
1. Normal Room ( 4 person/room )
2. Ushrah Room ( 3 person/room )
3. Post Graduate Room ( Single Occupant )

The capacity of Mahallah Bilal comprises up to 1200 students locals and foreigners came from variety of kuliyyah and department in the  university. The local student of this mahallah varies from each state of Malaysia and the foreigners came from various countries such as Nigeria, Djibouti, Oman, Mozambique and many more.
