Parents & Visitors - Seating Arrangements

Each graduate is given the privilege of inviting not more than two (2) guests to witness the Convocation Ceremony. The invitation cards will be distributed during the robe collection week from 3rd - 9th October 2009 at the Cultural Activity Centre. Please note that children below 12 years old are not allowed to enter the hall during the Convocation Ceremony.

Parents can enter the Culture Activiy Centre (CAC) from the entrance opposite of the Bank Muamalat. The entrance will be opened from 8am onwards for morning session and 2pm onwards for afternoon session.

The University has reserved special seats for disabled parents / guests and those in wheelchairs to attend the ceremony. Please inform the University of the need by clicking here by latest 1st October 2009.

To assist parents with small children (aged 7 years and below) who are attending the ceremony, the University also provides child care service managed by EDUCARE Child Development Centre at the rate of RM5.00 per hour per child for Saturday and Monday and RM10.00 per hour per child for service requested on Sunday. Food is to be provided by the parents. Please inform the University should you need the service by clicking here latest by 29th September 2009 (maximum is 25 children per session). Confirmation of the service must be made one week prior to the date of the ceremony by making payment to the EDUCARE office. Walk-in application will not be accepted.
