The Student Financial Unit  (SFU) assists and facilitate on matters pertaining to IIUM students' welfare and financial assistance (scholarship/loan). 

The Sponsorship Section of SFU is a liaison between students and sponsors or any other scholarship providing institutions. Our main task is to assist students in acquiring financial assistance (scholarship/loan)from these institutions. Various scholarship application forms from private and government institutions are available with us 

The Welfare Section of SFU, on the other hand offers various welfare services to the students.

Overall, the Student Financial Unit (SFU) provides the following services:
