Now, the struggles continues in the 8th Interschool Debating Championship 2009. As many as 160 debate teams, that are 80 teams per category,are expected to participate this year. These 640 young debaters will reside in the Garden of Knowledge and Virtue, the International Islamic University Malaysia (Main Campus, Gombak, Selangor), throughout the championship. The competition runs from 24th to 29th April 2009.
